A guide to playing tennis
Seattle Parks keeps at least one court at each site for open play, first come, first served. Other courts are reserved online, by phone or in person, at least 24 hours ahead, with no same-day reservations, and a reservation has priority. These 52 venues in Seattle follow those rules.

You can reserve online (an ActiveNet account is required), by phone at (206) 684-4764, or in person at Amy Yee Tennis Center, which takes phone and in-person reservations from 9:10 a.m. every day. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours ahead, and same-day reservations for outdoor courts are not allowed. If rain cancels your booking, you can ask for a refund by contacting Amy Yee Tennis Center within 48 hours after the reservation. The department's court-use policy, linked from the reservations page, keeps at least one court at each site for open play and asks players to give up a court after one hour (singles) or 1½ hours (doubles) when others are waiting. Courts that are not reserved are first come, first served, and a reservation has priority. The city's fee schedule lists fees for reservations only. Pickleball-only courts are drop-in only and cannot be reserved. Instructors who teach for a fee need a private-lesson permit at $25 per hour, paid by the instructor. Indoor courts at Amy Yee Tennis Center have their own rules and prices.
