Tennis Courts in New Taipei City

No booking and no payment needed. The New Taipei Riverside Parks Office runs the city's riverside tennis courts. Courts can be booked in advance, but time slots nobody has booked are open to anyone, so you can walk on and play for free, first come, first served. If you want to be sure of a court, you can reserve one. Reserving is optional and paid: NT$600 per court for a 4-hour session on weekdays and NT$800 on weekends and holidays, paid in advance. Use of 2 hours or less counts as a half session, and more than 2 hours counts as a full session. If more than one person applies for the same court and time slot, the first applicant has priority. Since 1 December 2025 courts in all of New Taipei's riverside parks can be booked online, and people who do not live in New Taipei can still register as members. Paid coaching can be booked Monday to Friday only, up to 2 sessions a week. Fees are not refunded once approved, except when force majeure makes the court unusable. The fee table also lists a NT$10,000 deposit. The Office's pages we read do not say whether it applies to an individual's tennis booking, so ask the Office first if you need to know.
