About the venue

Tamkang University Tennis Courts are on the university's Tamsui campus in New Taipei City. Court borrowing is handled by the Physical Education Activities Section, and the university's notice says people who are not its staff or students may not enter to use the courts.

On court

Night lighting runs only on semester weekdays, and the 22:00–23:00 slot is for club activities, so the lights stay off if no club has registered that period. On weekends, exam weeks and winter/summer breaks the lights are off, and notices for specific periods list different opening hours.

Before you go

Complete the borrowing procedure at least three days before play; use is allowed only after approval. Contact the Physical Education Activities Section on 02-26230985. External organizations must phone first and submit an official letter with an activity proposal one month ahead. Groups holding sports events must attend the court coordination meeting at the start of each semester. Do not enter when the courts are wet or muddy after rain; no smoking, betel nut, chewing gum or pets.

This weekly schedule applies during the SEMESTER only. Per the official court rules, exam weeks and winter/summer breaks run 07:00–19:00 without night lighting; a newer official notice (110.01.04, 網球場使用須知) lists 平日 08:00–22:00 and holidays/exam weeks/breaks 8:00–18:00, and period-specific notices (e.g. winter break) list 08:00–17:00 — hours vary by period.
