A modest, well-loved municipal clay-court facility tucked into a residential pocket of Mitaka, popular with locals for its low cost and easy availability. It's a no-frills spot for a casual hit rather than a polished club experience — reviewers note the clay isn't always in top shape, but it's kept up on a weekly basis and courts are relatively easy to get.

On court

Four clay courts, including a narrower separate No. 1 practice court. Clay conditions can vary after rain. A recorded official notice says the layout is due to change to three courts from October 1, 2026; confirm after that date.

Before you go

Individual walk-in use is same-day only (no advance booking) and limited to Mitaka residents, workers, or students (junior-high age and up) — 250 yen per person for a 2-hour slot, paid at the management building. Registered city groups can reserve online via Mitaka's facility booking system for 700 yen per court per 2-hour slot.
