Mitchell Park has four dedicated tennis courts and two shared tennis/pickleball courts. Pickleball takes priority on the shared courts, so tennis access depends on availability.

Courts 6–7 prioritize pickleball daily, 8am–10pm; tennis must give way when pickleball players arrive.

Before you go

Individual play uses first-come, first-served courts and cannot be reserved privately. Group use follows the city’s separate application rules. Restrooms are beside the front courts. Pickleball Courts | Mitchell Park: Courts are free and first-come, first-served — no reservations for individual play. The City does allow reserved use for Palo Alto Tennis Club, local schools, and USTA matches. Restrooms, water, and parking are available on site.
