Open for drop-in play from 8 a.m. to dusk, year-round, when no city or school district program is scheduled. Shoreview is the only park the city lists for court rental. The city lists up to six courts, but only two are available from 8 a.m. to noon daily and after 6 p.m. on weeknights. A court costs $12 an hour ($10 with the resident discount). Send an online rental request 7 to 180 days ahead, in one-hour blocks. Camps, clinics, classes, leagues and tournaments need the city's permission.

Shoreview Park is a large city park in Shoreline, just north of Seattle, with wooded trails, off-leash dog areas, and a playground alongside its four outdoor tennis courts. It's a relaxed, family-friendly spot for a casual match, with one court also lined for pickleball.
