A well-run public tennis complex in Griffith Park's Los Feliz corner, with 12 outdoor courts including a stadium court. It's a favorite spot for local families and casual players, with a playground and soccer field nearby. Courts sit close to the freeway, so some can get noisy — worth picking your court with that in mind.

Courts & conditions

12 outdoor courts, all lit for evening play until around 9pm. Weekday hours run 8am–12pm and 5pm–9pm; weekends and holidays 8am–7pm.

Good to know

Reservations are required every day and can be made online through the city's recreation site. Rates are $8/hr on weekdays before 4pm, $12/hr on weekday evenings and weekends/holidays, plus a $15/hr permit fee. Parking is free on-site, and there's a pro shop plus coaching through LA Tennis.
