About the venue

A traditional private members' tennis club in Hampstead, north London, built around six floodlit outdoor artificial clay courts. Play-in assessments keep the standard consistent and the atmosphere close-knit, with programmes for juniors, adults and teams, plus table tennis in the clubhouse.

Before you go

Globe Lawn Tennis Club is member-booked, with a play-in session to assess your level before membership is offered; guests can join a member for a two-hour session by paying the guest fee. Courts are booked in person by writing your name on the clubhouse chalkboard, or on the board outside Court 2 when the clubhouse is closed. On-site extras include a ball machine for hire, racket restringing and racket hire, plus limited parking.
