Ward-Run Tennis Courts in Adachi

8 venues

Adachi Ward takes bookings for its tennis courts online or at its 22 reception counters. Only registered Adachi residents, workers and students can enter the lottery; anyone else can book the open slots first come, first served, but every route needs at least one visit to a counter. These 8 venues in Adachi follow those rules.

Plan your visit

Can someone from outside Adachi Ward book an Adachi Ward tennis court, and what does it cost?

Yes, but only the open slots. Adachi Ward runs 8 tennis sites through its Sports Promotion Division. They are booked on the ward's facility booking system (施設予約システム) or at its 22 general reception counters. Only people registered as living, working or studying in Adachi can enter the lottery. Everyone else, including people from outside the ward, can book the open slots first come, first served from 09:00 on the 23rd of the month before use (by phone from 09:00 on the 25th); the open slots are published from 00:00 on the 23rd. To book online you need a user registration (利用者登録). You can apply in the booking system, but the ID check is in person at one of the 22 counters, with the original of an official ID that shows your name, address and age; an ID shown on a phone screen is not accepted (Mirairo ID excepted). Tennis registration is for one person aged 15 or older (junior high school students excluded); nobody can register for you, and a registration is valid for 2 years. The ward does not say whether a foreign passport is accepted. Without a registration you can book open slots only at a counter or by phone. A phone booking must be paid in cash at a counter by the payment deadline, so whichever way you book, you need to visit a counter in Adachi at least once. In its registration guidance, the ward asks people who live far away and find it difficult to visit a counter at the time of booking to contact a counter. A booking stays provisional until you pay, and an unpaid booking is cancelled automatically after the payment deadline. The court fee is 600 yen per court per hour at every site; lit courts cost more at night, and lights and opening hours differ by site, so check each venue page. Refunds after payment are paid in cash at a counter: in full if you apply within 3 days after the payment day and at least 2 days before use, half after those 3 days but still at least 2 days before use, and nothing on the day before or the day of use. If rain prevents play, you can get the fee refunded.
