South Peninsula
Cuesta Park in Mountain View has 12 lighted outdoor tennis courts and a lighted hitting wall, along with shade trees, a playground and picnic areas. The city lists an annual USTA open tournament here.
A leafy neighborhood park in Menlo Park with five outdoor tennis courts alongside a playground, ball fields, and shaded picnic areas — an easy, welcoming spot for a casual family day out that happens to include tennis. Courts are open to the public daily from morning into the evening under lights.
Willow Oaks Park is a public park in Menlo Park with four outdoor hard tennis courts, open daily for drop-in play. It's a relaxed, easy option for a casual match — free to walk on, with courts also available to reserve and lit for evening play.
Mitchell Park has four dedicated tennis courts and two shared tennis/pickleball courts. Pickleball takes priority on the shared courts, so tennis access depends on availability.
Rengstorff Park in Mountain View has eight outdoor hard tennis courts among the park lawns. Walk-on public play is free.
This Los Altos neighborhood park has three outdoor hard tennis courts shaded by trees, with courtside benches and a playground nearby.
A public park in Menlo Park with two outdoor tennis courts shaded by tall trees, just off the freeway. Drop-in play is free and first-come, first-served, with paid reservations also available. The park also has pickleball and basketball courts, making it an easy, low-key stop for a casual game.
Bay Club Redwood Shores is a fitness and racquet club with outdoor tennis alongside other sports. Members may bring accompanied guests to play under Bay Club’s guest policy.
