A public outdoor tennis court tucked into a quiet residential pocket of Shinjuku, an easy 5-minute walk from Shin-Okubo or Okubo station. With two omni courts plus a hitting wall and ball machine, it's a solid pick for early-morning practice or a night session under the lights before the courts close at 9pm.

Courts & conditions

Two artificial-clay (omni) outdoor courts, resurfaced and kept in good condition, with night lighting for play until 9pm. There's also a hitting wall and ball machine (auto-tennis) on site for solo practice, plus stringing and racquet/shoe/ball rental. Reviewers note the sand surface and note that night lighting is a bit dim, and the courts sit close to houses so noise is a consideration.

Booking is by phone only (no walk-in registration required) — call ahead to check court availability.
