About the venue

A friendly, long-established members' clay-court club tucked into a residential corner of Setagaya, Tokyo. Reviewers describe a warm, home-like atmosphere spanning generations, from juniors to members in their 80s, with courts kept in great condition. Non-members can also book a weekend rental slot to try the clay.

On court

Clay courts close after rain or snow until they have dried. A separate practice wall is available for solo hitting. Summer closing time may extend to 7pm.

Before you go

Annual membership is the normal route, but non-members can rent a weekend slot from 11:30am to 1:30pm, excluding holidays, for up to eight players. Cancellations must be made by phone; email is not accepted. A clubhouse and changing rooms are available.
