Esaka Tennis Center is a large, well-kept tennis complex in Suita, just outside central Osaka, part of a bigger sports park with a golf range, gym and restaurant on the same grounds. With 12 outdoor and 10 indoor hard courts plus ball-machine practice bays, it draws casual players, regulars and lesson-takers, and reviewers praise its clean facilities and friendly staff.

On court

All courts are all-weather hard courts, built to a standard that can host official international tournaments: 12 outdoor courts and 10 indoor courts, plus 3 indoor ball-machine (autotennis) bays for solo practice. Outdoor courts have night lighting for play until 22:00. The hard courts also double as pickleball and soft tennis courts, and badminton rental courts are available too.

Before you go

Tennis and soft tennis court bookings are online-only through the club's own reservation system (web membership required). The complex has about 700 parking spaces, a shuttle bus from Esaka Station, plus a tennis shop, stringing service, racquet and shoe rental, lockers and showers. Reviewers note it's easy to miss the turn-off from the Midosuji elevated expressway on your first visit, so it's worth checking directions ahead of time.
