About the venue

A quiet public sports ground tucked into a residential pocket of Aoyama, central Tokyo, just a short walk from Gaienmae Station. Reviewers are struck by finding a full athletic field surrounded by city buildings, with two tennis courts right beside the center house, plus a baseball ground on site — a peaceful escape in the middle of the city.

On court

The two courts are separated, so loose balls are less likely to reach the neighbouring court. Players report some worn patches on the surface. The courts are outdoors with sand-filled artificial turf.
