About the venue

A well-used public tennis facility inside Kiba Park in Koto, Tokyo, with six outdoor courts laid out in paired sets of two rather than one long row, giving each court a bit more breathing room. It's a popular after-work and weekend spot for local players, with plenty of izakaya nearby for a drink once the match is done.

Six outdoor artificial-turf (omni-style, sand-filled) courts with lights for night play until around 21:00. Reviewers note the paired-court layout gives more space per court than a typical six-in-a-row setup, though the mercury-vapor lighting can make the ball a little harder to track at night, and the courts show some wear.
