About

Ariake Tennis Forest is Tokyo's flagship public tennis complex, the very site where the Tokyo 2020 Olympics tennis events were played, drawing 190 athletes from 45 countries. Set within Ariake Park, it pairs Olympic pedigree with everyday public access, from casual hitting sessions to serious competition on a wide mix of hard and turf courts.

Courts & conditions

This is the Tokyo 2020 Olympic tennis venue, with a Center Court (Ariake Coliseum), a show court, indoor courts and outdoor courts on site. Outdoor hard courts and sand-filled artificial turf courts sit alongside air-conditioned indoor hard courts; outdoor courts have night lighting (an additional hourly fee applies), and every court can be played on with a competition wheelchair.

Good to know

Courts can be booked online through a monthly lottery, with remaining courts released for first-come booking from the 22nd of the prior month; same-day or day-before bookings must be made by phone directly to the park (8:30–21:00). A pro shop in the clubhouse offers racquet and equipment rental, and parking is available on site.
