About

A leafy public park built along Tokyo's old outer moat, a short walk from Yotsuya Station, popular with locals for walks, picnics and cherry blossoms as much as sport. Tucked into the grounds are two tennis courts alongside baseball and softball fields, making it a quiet, tree-shaded spot to play in central Tokyo.

Courts & conditions

Two outdoor artificial-turf courts sit inside Sotobori Park, a green riverside-moat park near Yotsuya Station. Eight light towers allow night play until around 21:00, and the park also has baseball and softball grounds alongside the courts.

Good to know

Courts are run by Chiyoda City and reservations require a Chiyoda-issued card, with a lottery entry system recommended for booking. Weekday court fee is ¥1,500/hour, rising to ¥1,800/hour on weekends and holidays, plus a ¥500/hour night-lighting surcharge; the venue has showers and lockers but no parking.
