Silver Lake Park is a scenic public park on Staten Island, built around a reservoir with walking paths, hills, and shaded seating. Alongside its golf course and sports fields, the park has six outdoor hard courts for public play — a nice option if you're already visiting for the views and trails.

This is an NYC Parks facility — a valid NYC Parks Tennis Permit is required, and sign-up is in person (no online or phone booking). A single-play tennis ticket costs $15.
