Lomita Park is the city's main park in the South Bay, a laid-back community space with a single outdoor tennis court alongside pickleball, basketball and space to bring the kids. It's more of an easygoing spot for a casual hit than a dedicated tennis club, with plenty of parking and a family-friendly feel.

Good to know

Open daily — weekdays 9am-8pm, weekends 9am-6pm (per the city's recreation-facilities page), with restrooms closing at the same time as the park. The city also runs youth tennis coaching/registration here, and there's parking with multiple entrances into the park.
