Free to play, first come, first served. The city rents up to half the courts: $13 an hour for Alameda residents and $18 for non-residents, for 1 to 3 hours. Send a permit request by email 7 business days to 6 months ahead; renters must be 21 or older. When others wait, walk-on play is limited to 60 minutes, and a single player may not play.
