About
The IMA Building is the University of Washington's flagship campus recreation center in Seattle, home to 11 outdoor tennis courts alongside basketball, squash, racquetball and more inside one huge multi-sport complex. It's an easygoing, first-come-first-served scene, open mainly to UW students, staff and their authorized guests rather than the general public.
Courts & conditions
Courts are split across two outdoor clusters — 4 North Courts and 7 South Courts — for 11 total. The 7 South Courts (#1–7) are night-lighted, with lights switched on at the Member Services Desk and turned off 30 minutes before the building closes.
Good to know
Access is limited to UW students, employees, retirees, affiliates and their authorized guests; courts are first-come-first-served with no advance booking. A single visit runs from $10 for non-fee-paying UW students up to $10.50 for employees, with a $14 sponsored guest fee. Equipment checkout (racket and balls), lockers, showers, parking and Dawg Bites Cafe are all on site.
