A public riverfront park in Washington Heights, Upper Manhattan, with ten outdoor hard courts run by NYC Parks along the Hudson. It's a straightforward pick-up-a-permit-and-play spot for locals, set beside the park's dramatic cliffs and views of the George Washington Bridge.

Courts & conditions

Ten outdoor hard courts. Lessons are offered on-site by the Riverside Tennis Association.

Good to know

Courts require an NYC Parks tennis permit, purchased online (about $15 per person per hour), valid at any outdoor court during tennis season (April 1 to the Sunday before Thanksgiving). Book or renew your permit via the NYC Parks tennis page.
