About the venue

Standley Recreation Center is a public San Diego park with six outdoor hard courts for locals and visitors to book a game. The grounds also hold soccer and softball fields, basketball and racquetball courts and a gymnasium, making it a relaxed neighborhood hub rather than a dedicated tennis club.

On court

All six courts are outdoor hard courts and are lit for night play, with weekday hours running from 8am to 10pm; weekend courts close at dusk.

Before you go

Reservations can be made by phone or in person at the clubhouse. Non-members pay a per-person guest fee, discounted to $8 if playing with a member. The on-site clubhouse has restrooms and a pro shop offering snacks, drinks and stringing service, plus a parking lot.
