About the venue

A long-standing nonprofit tennis club inside Martin Luther King, Jr. Park in San Diego, known for friendly coaching and a history of training top junior players. Its seven outdoor hard courts host USTA tournaments, junior and adult clinics, leagues, and social events.

Seven outdoor hard courts, with lighting for evening play (not all courts are lit). Club hours run split shifts on weekdays — 9:00am–12:30pm and 3:00pm–7:00pm — and 9:00am–3:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Court access is arranged through the club's online CourtReserve portal, and a one-day pass is available for non-members. On-site amenities include a pro shop, stringing services, and private or group lessons, with parking available in the club's own lot.
