About the venue

A 12-court outdoor tennis complex on the western edge of San Diego State University's campus, home to the SDSU men's and women's tennis programs as well as the university's Aztec Recreation open-play sessions. It's a polished, well-kept campus facility rather than a public park court — a good pick for SDSU students, staff, and Aztec Recreation members looking for quality courts near central San Diego.

On court

All 12 courts are outdoor hard courts surfaced with Plexicushion Prestige, the same type of surface used at the US Open's National Tennis Center. Courts have shaded benches for players waiting or resting between sets.

Before you go

Court access is included with Aztec Recreation Membership. Enter through the Aztec Aquaplex and continue to the courts at the back; campus parking is reported at about $3. Check current open-play availability before visiting. Eligible sponsored guests can also attend tennis open play under Aztec Recreation policy.
