Parade Ground sits just south of Prospect Park, one of Brooklyn's busiest community recreation hubs, with baseball, soccer, and basketball fields alongside tennis. The Prospect Park Tennis Center here stays open year-round — an indoor clay-court bubble covers the winter, and outdoor courts take over for summer. It's a well-loved public spot for casual play and lessons in a lively neighborhood park setting.

Courts & conditions

The center has 11 indoor clay courts under a seasonal bubble (October–May) and 8 outdoor courts during the summer season (May–October). Courts are open daily from 7am to 11pm.

Good to know

Daytime play requires a NYC Parks tennis permit, though single-play passes are available for players without one, at $15/hour. Advance reservations are available at the same daytime rate, with night play priced at $40/hour Monday–Thursday and $32/hour Friday–Sunday (7–11pm). Private and semi-private lessons are available with the professional staff.
