About the venue

Ferndale Community Sports Centre is a Lambeth council-run sports hub in Brixton, with two outdoor hard courts set up for pay-and-play tennis alongside basketball, football and netball. It's a straightforward, community-feel spot for a casual match rather than a polished private club, and sits within a larger centre that also runs football pitches.

On court

Two outdoor hard courts, multi-use for tennis, basketball, football and netball, with floodlights for evening play. The centre is open roughly 9am–10pm on weekdays and 9am–6pm on weekends.

Before you go

Book ahead by phone or online rather than turning up — courts are £16.05 for 60 minutes. Rackets are available to hire on-site, and the centre has parking, changing rooms, showers, wheelchair access and a café.
