About

National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) operates six outdoor tennis courts on its main Taichung campus — four hard courts and two clay courts. Located within a spacious university campus, the facility primarily serves students, faculty, and staff but is also accessible to alumni and the general public who obtain a sports facility usage permit.

Courts & conditions

4 outdoor hard courts and 2 outdoor clay courts. Hard courts operate 06:00–17:00 without lights, 17:00–21:30 with lights on weekday evenings during semester. Clay courts are available 09:00–16:00 weekdays only. An access control system (card-entry gate) has been installed. Courts may be closed during sports team practice times (Monday and Thursday 17:30–21:30 on courts 1–4).

Good to know

Faculty, students, and their immediate family members enter for free using an NCHU ID card. Alumni and general public must apply in person for a sports facility usage permit (運動場館使用證) — a monthly or annual pass — at the PE building. Walk-in access is not available without a valid card.
