About

Zhunan Sports Park (竹南運動公園) is Miaoli County's largest and most tournament-standard public tennis complex, occupying roughly 14 hectares in Zhunan Township. The 10–11 fenced outdoor hard courts (fully resurfaced in 2021 with NT$9 million in funding) have hosted national-level TSMC Elite Series events and are free to use for all. Combined with the adjacent Toufen Comprehensive Sports Park, this is the premier free tennis destination in northern Miaoli.

Courts & conditions

10–11 outdoor hard courts (resurfaced 2021), all fenced with perimeter netting. Night lighting available. Operating hours 6:00–21:00 daily. During peak hours after 15:00, individual use is limited to 1 hour per session if others are waiting.

Good to know

Free, no reservation required — first come, first served. All facilities except the swimming pool are free. Hours: 06:00–21:00 daily. After 15:00, yield the court after 1 hour if others are waiting. Managed by Zhunan Township Office (竹南鎮公所, tel: 037-625648). Reservation system exists for other indoor facilities at the park (znsc.chunan.gov.tw) but outdoor tennis courts are free walk-in.
