About the venue

I-Shou University Tennis Court is on the university's main campus in Dashu District, Kaohsiung. The university's rules say its sports grounds are mainly for its own staff and students, with teaching and after-class student activities taking priority.

On court

Per the university's management rules, the outdoor court lights stay off on Friday evenings and during midterm and final-exam weeks. Use may be halted when the courts are under maintenance or muddy.

Before you go

Off-campus organizations must submit a formal request with supporting documents two months in advance, and need Sports Office approval and the borrowing procedure completed before use. Borrowing is limited to sports activities and must not interfere with teaching, team training or university competitions. Wear sports clothing and shoes; food, pets and vehicles are not allowed on the grounds. The rules do not say how individuals get on the courts, so call 07 657 7711 before you go.
