About the venue

National Dong Hwa University Tennis Courts are outdoor courts beside the university gymnasium on the Shoufeng campus, in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. University pages call them the courts beside the gym and name them as the venue for campus tennis matches.

The lit night sessions are closed on national and traditional holidays, and the booking system also excludes night rentals during winter and summer vacations.

Before you go

Court booking goes through the university booking system, whose login requires an NDHU email account; the system notice and the revised rules give different advance-booking windows, so confirm with the PE Center (03-890-6619). After applying, pay at Taiwan Business Bank or the university cashier within 2 working days and complete confirmation at the PE Center within 3 working days. For a monthly tennis card, pay first, then bring the receipt, ID and application to the PE Center office during office hours; cardholders register for daytime slots outside classes and training, normally one hour at a time, and the card cannot be lent or altered. One borrower may use the same court for at most 2 hours a day. Bicycles, motorbikes and cars are not allowed onto the courts.
