About

A large county-run outdoor tennis facility adjacent to the Hualien County Government building, opened in 2001. With 10 competition courts and one practice court, it is the primary public tennis venue in Hualien City and draws a regular community of players. The well-maintained site features restrooms, showers, and accessible parking along Fuqian Road.

Courts & conditions

10 outdoor competition courts (hard surface) plus 1 practice court, all hard surface. Evening lighting available; night sessions run 18:30–22:00. Courts open to walk-in players on a first-come, first-served basis with one-hour rotations; Court 2 requires one-hour advance registration (2–6 players per group). Courts 7 & 8 reserved for instruction sessions.

Paid public access: NT$60 per person per day session; NT$180 monthly pass. Night lighting costs an additional NT$120 per hour. Seniors (65+) and children under 6 enter free with ID. Groups/institutions pay NT$240 per court per session. Coaching class operators must apply in writing and pay a rental fee of NT$2,000 per court per half-session per month.
