About the venue

A large public sports park in Setagaya offering 12 outdoor tennis courts within a wider complex that also has a baseball ground, athletics track, gymnasium and pool. It's a solid pick for local players wanting an affordable, well-used municipal court close to Odakyu or Tokyu Den-en-toshi line stations (about a 20–30 minute walk, or a short bus ride).

On court

All 12 courts are sand-filled artificial turf (omni-court style), so light rain doesn't stop play. Eight of the courts have night lighting, running until 21:00, and the courts operate daily from 07:00 to 21:00.

Before you go

Booking runs through the ward's Keyaki Net registration system; on the day, arrive at the management office (in the pyramid-shaped building) to complete registration, which opens 2 hours before your start time. Personal use is generally limited to those living, working, or studying in the ward. Changing rooms, showers, and parking (119 spaces) are on site, though parking can fill up on weekends.
