A large public sports park in Setagaya offering 12 outdoor tennis courts within a wider complex that also has a baseball ground, athletics track, gymnasium and pool. It's a solid pick for local players wanting an affordable, well-used municipal court close to Odakyu or Tokyu Den-en-toshi line stations (about a 20–30 minute walk, or a short bus ride).

Courts & conditions

All 12 courts are sand-filled artificial turf (omni-court style), so light rain doesn't stop play. Eight of the courts have night lighting, running until 21:00, and the courts operate daily from 07:00 to 21:00.

Good to know

Booking runs through the ward's Keyaki Net registration system; on the day, arrive at the management office (in the pyramid-shaped building) to complete registration, which opens 2 hours before your start time. Personal use is generally limited to those living, working, or studying in the ward. Rates are ¥1,540/hour on weekdays and ¥1,840/hour on weekends/holidays, plus a ¥930/hour night-lighting surcharge. Changing rooms, showers, and parking (119 spaces) are on site, though parking can fill up on weekends.
