Kanaoka Park Tennis Court is a large public tennis complex in Sakai, on the southern edge of the Osaka area. Fourteen outdoor artificial-grass courts sit in a clean, open layout inside the park. Reviewers describe it as a well-maintained, spacious facility that's popular enough that the booking lottery can be hard to win.

On court

The complex has 14 outdoor sand-filled artificial-grass courts, with standard hours starting at 08:00 and a 07:00 start on weekends and holidays from May to September. Eight of the courts have night lighting, usable until 21:00; the other six are day-use only. Courts sit close together with no dividers between them, so reviewers note balls can roll in from neighboring courts.

Courts must be reserved in advance: register with the city's sports facility system, then book online, by phone, or in person. Non-Sakai residents can also register, though lottery applications are limited to city residents. Parking is available for 265 cars.
