About

A members' lawn tennis club tucked into a residential corner of Nerima, Tokyo, built around eight sand-filled artificial-turf courts. Coaching is a big part of the culture here, with a front desk, lounge and terrace, and a mini tennis shop rounding out the clubhouse feel.

Courts & conditions

Eight sand-filled artificial-turf courts in total — two indoor all-weather courts plus six outdoors, with night lighting on the center court and court 2 for evening play.

Good to know

This is a members-only club, but non-members can try it out as a paid trial visitor — within 4 hours for ¥3,300 on weekdays or ¥4,400 on weekends/holidays, or within 6 hours for ¥11,000 (weekday trial includes a 40-minute private lesson). Members playing outside their scheduled day pay ¥2,200/day. Visitor sessions require advance reservation, and stringing is handled by staff certified through Gosen's stringer test.
