About

A riverside municipal park court along the Tama River in Chofu, popular with locals out for a bike ride or a break by the water. Alongside the tennis courts, the park also has a baseball field and other recreational spaces, making it a relaxed spot for a casual game.

Courts & conditions

Four sand-filled artificial-turf courts sit outdoors within Tamagawa Green Park, fitted with night lighting for evening play.

Good to know

Courts require advance registration and online booking before use; walk-ins are not accepted. Fees are ¥700 per unit for residents (¥1,400 for non-residents), rising to ¥1,000 (¥2,000 non-resident) for the 18:00-21:00 night slot, plus ¥300 per 30 minutes for lights. Note: a construction notice on the official page states the court may be temporarily suspended for works, so check availability before visiting.
