A city-run rooftop tennis facility in Higashiosaka, with courts perched atop a water distribution building giving an open-sky feel above the neighbourhood. It's a straightforward, affordable public option for a hit any day but Wednesday, with a tennis school also run on-site for those wanting lessons.

コートの状況

Five artificial-grass courts sit on the rooftop of the Mizuhai water distribution facility, each individually fenced off so you don't have to worry about neighbouring players. Lights allow play into the evening (until 21:00), and the courts are closed on Wednesdays.

知っておきたいこと

Court rental is ¥1,000/hour on weekdays and ¥2,000/hour on weekends and holidays, plus an ¥800/hour night-lighting surcharge; paid parking is available (¥100/hour). Booking is by phone or in person at the office, and a City of Higashiosaka registration card is required to reserve.
