A friendly, long-established members' clay-court club tucked into a residential corner of Setagaya, Tokyo. Reviewers describe a warm, home-like atmosphere spanning generations, from juniors to members in their 80s, with courts kept in great condition. Non-members can also book a weekend rental slot to try the clay.

コートの状況

Four well-maintained outdoor clay courts plus a hitting wall for solo practice. Courts close after rain or snow until the clay dries out. Open daily 9am–5pm (extended to 7pm in summer).

Sakura Tennis Club is a membership club (annual membership); non-members may rent a court on weekends from 11:30–13:30 (2 hours, up to 8 people, excluding holidays) for ¥12,000. Cancellations must be made by phone — email is not accepted. Facilities include a clubhouse, changing rooms, showers, and parking.
