Kita Sports Center is a municipal gymnasium in Osaka's Kita ward, a short walk from Hankyu Nakatsu Station. Tennis shares the main hall with basketball, volleyball, and badminton, making it a convenient, no-frills spot for a casual match. The building is older, but reviewers note the interior has been nicely renovated.

There is one line-marked tennis court, inside the multi-purpose Gymnasium Hall 1, shared with basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, judo, and kendo — it's a shared-use space, not a dedicated tennis facility. Lights are installed and stay on until 21:00, so evening play is possible on the days it's open.

知っておきたいこと

Reserve through Osaka City's OPAS sports facility booking system online, or check availability and book by phone or in person at the front desk. The hall is closed Mondays (shifting to the next day if Monday is a public holiday). Rates are for the whole hall, not tennis-specific — expect roughly 1,400–2,500 JPY per time block on weekdays and 1,680–3,000 JPY on weekends/holidays.
