A quiet hilltop park court tucked above the Sumida River in Arakawa, popular with local residents for its greenery, ponds and easy-going atmosphere. Eight courts split between sand-filled artificial turf and hard surfaces make it a solid pick for regular play, with lit courts extending sessions into the evening.

Eight outdoor courts sit within Arakawa Nature Park on a raised hilltop above the Sumida River — four sand-filled artificial turf courts (A–D) and four hard courts (E–H). Courts A–D have night lighting for evening play; hours run daily from 6:00 to 21:00. Showers, lockers and restrooms are on site at the sports facility management building.

知っておきたいこと

Courts require prior registration (team or individual) through Arakawa Sports Center, limited to residents, workers, or students of Arakawa Ward — registration cannot be done online. Bookings are made via the facility reservation system between the 1st and 6th of the month before use, or by phone. Adult daytime rental is ¥600/hour (¥300 for junior-high age or younger); night (lighted) rental is ¥1,400/hour (¥550 for junior-high age or younger).
