Ma On Shan Recreation Ground's public tennis courts sit just outside an MTR station exit in Sha Tin, run by Hong Kong's Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The two courts stand apart from other facilities with plenty of room around them, making for an easy, uninterrupted match — a solid pick for casual play in the New Territories.

This is a fee-charging LCSD facility. A 2004 notice described reservations through the "生活易" website, the "康體通" phone hotline, or LCSD booking counters for dates within 30 days; confirm current booking procedures with LCSD. On-site facilities include men's and women's restrooms with changing rooms, and wheelchair access; one reviewer noted the restrooms and changing rooms are a bit of a walk from the courts, with no water fountain nearby.
